Simon Bruce Kaniu
Bruce is the General Manager and co-founder of the sQuid Kenya business. He returned to Kenya after studying and working in Canada, helping to build our Africa business model and the local talented team that serve our iMlango education and microfinance ambitions. He has led our NGO programmes across Africa and is passionate about delivering lasting positive impact to marginalised communities.
Adam Smith
Adam is the co-founder and CEO of sQuid and the architect of the award-winning iMlango programme. With a history in telecommunications and software development, he has established sQuid as an alternative digital platform and payments business. As sQuid expanded into Kenya, and began to deliver services for NGOs, he developed an interest in how new models might be used, leveraging technology, to help ensure lasting positive change might be delivered to marginalised communities. Adam believes that success here is achievable through sound business principles rather than through a donation mentality.
